Loosing the Key of David                                                                                                 $14.95

"When I grow up I'll NEVER..." We've all reacted this way to something when we were growing up, standing before our parents with fists balled and stamping our feet. Reviews:

Amazingly Practical Spiritual Guide, February 6, 2009
I'm caught on the horns of a dilemma: do I understate the impact this book has had on my life, or risk the credibility of my review by telling the truth...about how much I didn't know that I didn't know?

Since we've read this, my wife and I have put the practical steps from Frederick's manual to work in our lives and the results have been breathtaking. It's written as a practical guidebook--almost a spiritual survival guide--so don't expect a novel. But if you give this book a chance I am convinced you'll see the Holy Spirit release undreamed-of levels of freedom and grace into your life.

Loosing the Key of David, April 15,2009

Loosing the Key of David is a life changing book. Stephen's knowledge of inner healing and deliverance is evident. I have been through a lot of inner healing over the years but learned a lot of new principles. I actually wept as I read the book as I saw many areas where loved ones are bound and sorely need Stephen and his wife, Melissa's, ministry. This book gave me further insight into a lot of areas and clarification of questions I've been thinking about for decades. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who desires freedom from the past so he or she can live a NEW life in Christ. I am recommending this book to my friends who are being touched by it. I am looking forward to Stephen's next book.

We purchased your book and I have just finished it. Wow! Will read it more slowly next time. I was so fascinated by it that I couldn't put it down. It was excellent. Very eye opening. Thank you for formatting the information in an easy to read book. Will be in touch. Be blessed!

Excerpt from the Introduction

"And the key of the house of David I will lay upon his shoulder; he shall open and no one shall shut, he shall shut and no one shall open.” –Isa 22:22

For years I separated verse 22 from those that follow thinking that it was not part of the prophesy contained within them, but was rather an establishment of authority.  An authority given because of what he would do for us in the following verses.

“And I will fasten him like a peg or nail in a firm place; and he will become a throne of honor and glory to his father's house.  And they will hang on him the honor and the whole weight of [responsibility for] his father's house: the offspring and issue [of the family, high and low], every small vessel, from the cups even to all the flasks and big bulging bottles.  In that day, says the Lord of hosts, the nail or peg that was fastened into the sure place shall give way and be moved and be hewn down and fall, and the burden that was upon it shall be cut off; for the Lord has spoken it."  --Isa 22:23-25

This messianic prophecy in the book of Isaiah shows us a beautiful picture of what Christ accomplished for us on the cross.  In verses 23-25 we see Jesus fastened as a peg in a firm place upon which “the whole weight of responsibility for his father’s house” rests.  He took the whole weight of the sin of the world upon him when he was fastened to the cross.  From the smallest to the “big bulging” ones; no matter the issue He took it upon himself.  And on that day when He was hewn down the burden that was upon him was cut off; for the Lord has spoken it.

It was not until very recently that I was given the revelation that the ‘Key of David’ was in fact the cross.  When it was placed on Jesus’ shoulder He was taking the responsibility for the Father’s house.  It is because of the work of the cross that He has been given all authority and all power in Heaven and in the Earth.

“…All authority (all power of rule) in heaven and on earth has been given to Me.”

–Matt 28:18

So then when we loose the Key of David with which "he shall open and no one shall shut, he shall shut and no one shall open" we are in fact loosing the authority, power, forgiveness, grace and mercy of the work done at the cross of our Lord and Savior Jesus.  It is by His sacrifice that our sins are forgiven.  It is by His stripes that we are healed.  It is by His resurrection and our confession of Him as Lord that we enter eternal life.
